I missed my period by 2 days and then have some bleeding. But I have other symptoms of period that I usually don’t have like cramping. I know that a lot of symptoms of pregnancy are similar to those of the period so I don’t want to just ignore them. I am bleeding though but didn’t know if it was too much to be considered spotting.

are you or did you take birth control pills recently? i ask cuz, bc pills cause you to have shorter periods and spotting.
are you preg?
because when u are and u blled that isnt good at all
I wouldn’t be worried about pregnancy right now. This may be your period this month. The amount of flow depends on a lot of things including b.c. pills, stress, the other women you are surrounded by, implantation bleeding, or an irregular cycle. I would wait 2 weeks after the day that you were supposed to get your period before you try taking a pregnancy test. Some of the tests that claim you can take them before are not as accurate as they claim to be. This will save you some money.
I know that it is hard to wait that long because my husband and I have been trying for a baby ourselves. I have gone through many a pregnancy test thinking “this time I really feel pregnant” and I have not been. Good luck to you.
when I got pregnant (didn’t know at the time) I also had spotting and pretty bad cramping and I thought it was because my period was coming and I kept spotting (small drops of blood, like when your period is almost there) but than days went by and I kept spotting the same and the cramps wouldn’t go away, that’s when I knew. I took a pregnancy test the day that my period was supposed to end (about 5 days later or when I finished my “sugar” pills) and it was positive, so you should probably wait a few days just to make sure your period doesn’t come at all and than buy a pregnancy test….
