If they are very bad you need to go to the er, especialy if you have a history

should be fine, the first weeks you feel cramps, like period cramps, and it is just the uterus streching and changing from the baby. Just try to relax, and congradulations.

I know you might not want to hear this but cramping sometimes mean pre term labor or misscarriage, especially if you have a hx. Call you provider immediatley or go to the ER for them to rule out either one. If you can’t get there right away lie down with you head down and feet up quickly . Good luck!

Cramps are unpleasant sensations caused by contraction, usually of muscles. It can be caused by cold or overexertion. Illness or poisoning can also cause cramps, particularly in the stomach, which is referred to as colic if it fits particular characteristics.

There are two basic causes of cramping. One is inadequate oxygenation of muscle, and the other is lack of water or salt. Cramps from poor oxygenation can be improved by rapid deep breathing, as well as stretching the muscle. Cramps from lack of salt and water can be treated by stretching the muscle, and of course drinking water and increasing salt intake. Pounding on the muscle can increase soreness.

Muscle cramps in particular can be treated by applying a soft massage on the cramped muscle, stretching the muscle and applying heat or cold. Heat improves superficial blood circulation and makes muscles more flexible, so some people find that heat is more soothing for muscle cramps than applying ice.

Electrolyte disturbance may cause cramping and tetany of muscles, particularly hypokalemia (a low level of potassium) and hypocalcemia (a low level of calcium).

sometimes cramping is just ur body changing, adjusting, growing, everything is moving around making room for da new adjustment. i dont fink u should worry too much but if u r concerned ask ur gp for an ultrasound. i fink u should be concerned wen n if u start spotting.. best of luck to u wid da pregnancy :0)

with your past i would definitely see a doctor asap. chances are you are feeling your uterus stretch, it can be a little scary. im sure everything is ok so try not to be stressed it will only make matters worse. good luck

I’m sorry for your loss my sister went through the same thing ;/ i’m pregnant myself and i cramped and cramped real bad its probably just ligament pains because your uteris is stretching its nothing to worry about my doctor told me mine should go away by the 3rd month and they have good luck on this pregnancy

Why are you asking Yahooers and not heading straight to the doctors? You can’t be too far pregnant that your uterus needs to stretch yet, you may just need to go to the toilet but if this is different to that feeling hightail it to the doctors.

I had one too, and i knew it wasnt normal when they were really really bad where i couldnt even think. I have two kids and my cramps when pregnant were minor compared to a miscarriage cramps, but just relax and dont do excessive things and see your Dr if it doesnt go away, he should have you under special care if he knows that you have had a miscarriage already.

Its just means your uterus is expanding but if its follow by bleeding then go to your doctors right away.
