Pregnancy Spotting

First, I’m not looking for medical advice. I’m looking for a survey of what other women have experienced.

If you had spotting during your pregnancy, when did it start? What was the duration? If it’s not TMI, what did your spotting look like? What was the result of the spotting? How did your doctor respond?

i have had light red/pink/brown spotting on and off for 4/5 days. what are the chances of the baby being ok?
i have been to the drs 4 days ago. they have been unable to tell me too much. i thought i would just ask some people who may have had the same problem. i have been spotting now for about 4/5 days on and off.

My friend is pregnant and is just about to come up to her 2nd week of pregnancy but today shes experiencing spotting of blood, is this normal? should she be worried?

I am 5 weeks pregnant and been having mild cramping off and on for the past 3 weeks. This morning I had mild cramping and had light spotting on the TP. I am worried that I might be starting to m/c.

Also 3 months ago I had a m/c I was 19 weeks and went in to check the sex of the baby and they couldn’t find a heartbeat and the baby only measured about 16 weeks and they had to enduce labor (it was a girl).

I have spotting during pregnancy. I am scared to death to hurt my child, but I hate pads. Can you use tampon’s during pregnancy?

I am five weeks pregnant and RH-. I had small amount spotting and received Rhogam. I was told that I will need Rhogam EVERY time I have spotting throughout the pregnancy. This seems a little excessive, especially since my insurance does not cover Rhogam. Is it really needed every time you spot?

How do you know if you are bleeding because your period is coming on or if the bleeding is the sort some women lightly experience around the time their period would have come on when they are actually pregnant? I know the easy answer is take a pregnancy test - but before I can go out and get one I’d just like to know if anyone else experienced light bleeding when pregnant instead of their period. My period was due almost 1 week ago and the light bleeding has begun today. Advice welcome please - excluding people telling me to buy a home preg test - which I will do if necessary, just want more info in the spotting sometimes experienced at the beginning of pregnancy thanks!

I am not very regular on my period, I get it every month but the day is what is off, only by a couple of days though. We have been trying to conceive, but this is the first time I have ever spotted. When I wipe there is nothing, but I see it on my panties. I took a pregnancy test and its negative. I get minor cramps that come and go, my boobs are sore…Has this ever happend to anyone?

i know alot of woman who spot their whole pregnancy and the doctors say its ok…. why do they have this and why is it ok?

I am wondering this because I recently had what I thought was a period (It has been almost a year since I’d had one) but it only lasted a day and my friend pointed out that since it only lasted a day I might have just been spotting and then she said oh! you might be pregnant! lol I don’t think I am but that is besides the point, I am curious if spotting during pregnancy would be temporary or last throughout the entire pregnancy….any advice would be greatly appreciated!
