Pregnancy Spotting

How do you know if you are bleeding because your period is coming on or if the bleeding is the sort some women lightly experience around the time their period would have come on when they are actually pregnant? I know the easy answer is take a pregnancy test - but before I can go out and get one I’d just like to know if anyone else experienced light bleeding when pregnant instead of their period. My period was due almost 1 week ago and the light bleeding has begun today. Advice welcome please - excluding people telling me to buy a home preg test - which I will do if necessary, just want more info in the spotting sometimes experienced at the beginning of pregnancy thanks!

I am not very regular on my period, I get it every month but the day is what is off, only by a couple of days though. We have been trying to conceive, but this is the first time I have ever spotted. When I wipe there is nothing, but I see it on my panties. I took a pregnancy test and its negative. I get minor cramps that come and go, my boobs are sore…Has this ever happend to anyone?

or would the hormone levels been too low to detect? Many thanks.

I have just done a pregnancy test during my period, as I normally have really heavy periods but this seems light!!! The test says positive, but could my period be affecting the result? Urgent answers PLEASE!!!!!

I am 19 and am NOT ready for a child. I missed my period and i have this sensation in my left lower abdomen that is nothing like my pre period cramps/period cramps. It does not hurt but i notice it. I took a pregnancy test after lunch about a week ago and it came out negative so i’m starting to worry that the missed period and these cramps are something more serious
Mostly i would just like to know if any of you experienced this same sensation during pregnancy.

it’s been 3 months i haven’t had my period. I took a pregnancy test and it tested positive. But i haven’t had spotting yet. i also check my blood pressure regularly and last time it was 84 over 48. is it one cause why i am not spotting yet? I have been experiencing the common symptoms of pregnancy though.

I’m not sure when my last period was, I forgot to write it down, but I’m pretty sure it was the beginning of February. I had slight cramps the end of February and on March 2nd the was pink blood. Now it is brown and not heavy bleeding at all (normally I bleed heavily during the first days of my preiod). Could I be pregnant? and if so, is it okay for me to take the test now (during this “spotting” period) or should I wait until the spotting stops?

I don’t have any other pregnancy symptoms besides fatigue, which I have all of the time anyhow lol

I started spotting today and it only lasted about 5 minutes. Does this mean I am pregnant??
Should I take a pregnancy test? I am due to have my period between the 17th and the 22nd. My boyfriend and I started having test on November 1 unprotected, would I find out if I am pregnant yet or is it too early?

I had unprotected sex many times and i thought i was pregnant for sure but then my period came 4 days early from the expected date.
im not sure if i am on my period or just light spotting. im confused?
