Pregnancy Spotting

Hi all,
(for those who are a little squeamish please don’t read ahead)
I am 5 weeks pregnant and have been feeling fine, slight cramping which I have been advised is my womb etc stretching and it hasn’t been really bad pain.
Yesterday afternoon I went to the bathroom and felt a slight twinge so I probed my ‘insides’ with my finger and there was a milky brown blood, almost peach. I phoned NHS direct immediately and they advised it wasn’t uncommon to have a little bleeding but to call my doctor in the morning, it is now the morning and I am waiting for the doctors to open so that I can call and make an appointment, thing is I have checked again and there is a spot of blood at the end of my finger. I am not in any pain and I feel fine (other than worry of course).
I was wondering whether this is normal, to have this kind of spotting during early pregnancy? Is it or could it be a miscarriage? and any extra advice you can give me please?

Also, what are other early symptoms?

I’m 7.4 weeks, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and have ovarian cysts before becoming pregnant. Can this be causing my spotting, don’t have cramps just the usual mild to nothing. Can this affect this pregnancy, been spotting since 5.5 weeks.

What exactly is spotting during pregnancy?
I know it is blood. But how much> Is it like a few days with a little bit or is it like a very light period or what is it and when do most pregnant women get that during how many days or weeks into the pregnancy??

I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and have some brown spotting and very rarely it is very light in color almost pinkish. It doesnt happen everyday, but enough for me to wonder if it’s normal. I know it’s not implantation bleeding, but has anyone experienced this and had a normal pregnancy?

I have taken 2 hpts, both negative. If I am pregnant, I would be 5 1/2 weeks along. I started cramping 2 days ago, 1st day was a very light bleed (light pink/brown) and today I had more severe cramps (I had to take some pain pills) and bled a bit more. I filled 1 1/2 super tampons today and the blood was a lot darker with tissue. My cramps pretty much stopped completely a few hours ago.

Is this typical of spotting? Or is this more likely a light period?

When me and my boyfriend were done having sex i had very light spotting. I paniced and went to the doc. He couldnt really tell me anything so iv been searching the internet to find some answers. Im very early into my pregnancy and just found out about a month ago. It was very light and short only lasted an hour. Is this normal or did i lose my baby?

yes i wanna take a test because i was told you could be pg while on your period an sometimes spotting occurs and well i think i have had spotting bcuz its less than my normal period and its just not the same.. my question was can you take a pregnancy test while spotting..?? and which pg test is the best and most accurate? i appreciate all answers,,,… THANKS IN ADVANCE!
