Good commentary! Luckily, my parents are pretty understanding when it comes to video games. They both say “If you aren’t smart enough to tell fantasy from violence, I’d be very worried.” I think it’s because they take the time to actually understand video games and see what I’m playing, and since they’re understanding, I’m more willing to open up and share my thoughts and not keep shit from them. I know I’m very lucky when I think of my friends who aren’t allowed to touch video games AT ALL.

They shouldn’t worry about video games! If you look at the bigger picture, schools all across America are giving bad influences to kids. Kids see all sorts of things going on at school. In Elementry school, kids start getting used to swearing. In Jr. High and High School they are likely to get exposed to things like sex and drugs.
That’s my opinion at least.
