I had my last period about 12 days ago, it was about 5 days long. I dont think I have ovulated yet, but I could very well be wrong. However, I normally can tell.
My lower back is killing me, my breasts are aching, I felt like being sick this morning and had light spotting last night. I took an early pregnancy test, but it was negative.
Is it possibly just too early?
Or could it just be something else?
I am on the shot, however I have gotten pregnant once before on it. And ended up loosing the baby in the fifth month.
I was not planning to get pregnant (clearly if I am on b/c) but its not unwanted or unprepared for if I am.

It’s unlikely that you have ovulated, but every woman is different. Try testing again in 5-7 days. In the meantime treat your body as if you were pregnant…no alcohol, etc. Good luck!
The best thing to do is to see an O&G Doc. Please don’t assume. Cheerio!
The shot could be just messing your periods up of you could have stress in your life right now it can do that too! Wait till closer till your period time and take another test if you still fill the same. I cramp quite a bit on ovulation day which is about where you are at now.
The light spotting could be implantation bleeding and the sickness could be morning sickness (although it’s usually not just in the morning) The breast pain is a sign of pregnancy also.
Taking a pregnancy test 12 days after your period is most likely too early for an accurate result. Most pregnancy tests are only really accurate a day or two before your next expected period.
I think the best you could do right now would be to wait 3 days or so (or a day or two before your next expected period, depending on your cycle) and take another pregnancy test. If it comes up positive, schedule an appointment for the pregnancy.
If it comes up negative again see your doctor so he/she can find out for sure whether you’re pregnant or what else may be causing your symptoms.
Yes, you are pregnant.
