i have had light red/pink/brown spotting on and off for 4/5 days. what are the chances of the baby being ok?
i have been to the drs 4 days ago. they have been unable to tell me too much. i thought i would just ask some people who may have had the same problem. i have been spotting now for about 4/5 days on and off.

you really should go to the doctor and make sure everything is ok. with that said, i had an episode of spotting at 12 weeks with this baby, and everything is fine now. im 31 weeks and 4 days.

Very good. I am 14 + weeks pregnant and had the same thing. It can happen from irritation from the cervix from sex, it can also happen from placenta previa where the placnta is rubbing the cervix. If you have bleeding and cramping at the same time, that is bad but bleeding by itself is not bad as long as it is more pink and brown spotting. any bright red blood is not as good prognosis but the pregnancy can still proceed as there are reasons for this too. Cramping + Bleeding togther at same time=bad. Bleeding alone pink or brown=good prognosis; Bleeding bright red spotting=guarded prognosis with possible causes that will not affect pregnancy! Good Luck and be as positive as possible!!!
