Pregnant moms make lots of sacrifices for the health of their babies. Like giving up alcohol, smoking and drugs. Should dads follow suit by giving up their vices? Seriously, as long as he keeps the virgin strawberry Daquiris coming my way–maybe some cheesecake too–he can drink himself into a stupor.
Just because you can’t get drunk on junk food doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep trying….

i basicly cut down quiet a bit. i wasnt a heavy drinker to start with but i do enjoy the occasional beer as all men do im sure. my wife doesnt really have a problem with it as long as i dont come home completly smashed and i dont drink t much in front of her. like i said i was never a heavy drinker so this wasnt a problem and i never smoked in the house either so that wasnt a problem either.

I wouldn’t want my hubby to assume I was now his designated driver… however, I would not stop my hubby from having the usual drink or two if he wanted.
Now, I do tend to not like a lot of smells that are strong, like beer, when I’m pg, but that’s where consideration comes in… you can go in another room, close the door, and set up a guy movie BEFORE you pop the top.
Let her watch “A Baby Story” or the other shows we watch obsessively when pregnant and drink some delicious juice, tea, etc.
