Pregnancy Spotting

What exactly is spotting during pregnancy?
I know it is blood. But how much> Is it like a few days with a little bit or is it like a very light period or what is it and when do most pregnant women get that during how many days or weeks into the pregnancy??

I am five weeks pregnant and RH-. I had small amount spotting and received Rhogam. I was told that I will need Rhogam EVERY time I have spotting throughout the pregnancy. This seems a little excessive, especially since my insurance does not cover Rhogam. Is it really needed every time you spot?

I found out not too long ago that I’m pregnant. I am almost 13 weeks now. I went to the doctor 2 days ago and everything seemed normal but last night I had cramps that were so horrible it literally felt like I was going into labor. I couldn’t even move. The whole day today I have been sore and crampy too. Are cramps that severe a sign that something is wrong? Btw I have endometriosis. Can that cause cramps that bad during pregnancy?

How do you know if you are bleeding because your period is coming on or if the bleeding is the sort some women lightly experience around the time their period would have come on when they are actually pregnant? I know the easy answer is take a pregnancy test - but before I can go out and get one I’d just like to know if anyone else experienced light bleeding when pregnant instead of their period. My period was due almost 1 week ago and the light bleeding has begun today. Advice welcome please - excluding people telling me to buy a home preg test - which I will do if necessary, just want more info in the spotting sometimes experienced at the beginning of pregnancy thanks!

Can being really constipated cause really bad cramping during pregnancy. Yesterday I was really worried, cuz I had severe bloating and cramping all day. I felt just horrible. but I still felt baby moving around, so I figured it was probably ok. but I was in a lot of pain. I hadn’t had a bowel movement in about two days or so. Could that have caused my bad cramping. Any one have experiences with that. I always worry when I cramp up that bad. Thanks for any advice. Im 20 weeks pregnant.

How many weeks were you when you first saw stretch marks? Did they fade after delivery, or stayed the same?

I am 27 years old and trying to conceive our second child. We are using the ovulation kits to help us conceive. According to the test I ovulated on Sunday, August 27. Starting on Thurday, August 31 I started having mild cramps that come and go during the day. Are these cramps normal this early in pregnancy (if I am pregnant) or is it a sign of menstration? Thanks to all you respond.

I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and have some brown spotting and very rarely it is very light in color almost pinkish. It doesnt happen everyday, but enough for me to wonder if it’s normal. I know it’s not implantation bleeding, but has anyone experienced this and had a normal pregnancy?

I have a question about stretch marks in pregnancy. I got one stretch mark in my first pregnancy. It is only half an inch long. I got it because I had a scar from a belly button piercing I had let grow over.

So will I get stretch marks off of this one previous stretch mark during my second pregnancy?
Anyone have experience with anything similar?
