I found out a couple months ago that I have a tilted uterus, and just friday I found out I was pregnant. I have been having period like cramps every since the day my period should have started, so about a wk, wk in a half. The cramps are more on the left side. Im hoping its nothing serious, theres no bleeding or dizziness. Is everything ok?

you’re fine. cramps during early pregnancy are completely normal. and they don’t have anything to do with the tilt.
Most women will experience mild mentrual-like cramps in pregnancy, tilted uterus or not (though the tilted uterus may account for why they are more on one side than the other). Don’t worry about cramping unless it is severe and/or accompanied by bleeding. It’s completely normal otherwise.
I had cramping the first couple of weeks during pregnancy. I suggest you visit your doctor if you are concerned, just for peace of mind.
I have a tilted uterus and my pregnancys were fine. Most people have cramping in the first trimester. I was just talk to your doctor and he’ll be able to give you more information on what to expect in your first trimester. Best of luck!
mom of 3 and 20 wks pregnant
Since your early in the game ,
Id call your doctor.
because something could be wrong
you should experience cramps because your uterus is a muscle
But it shouldn’t be bothering you that much .
And it is better safe then sorry , right?
A tilted uterus or not , you will still have cramping .
Maybe more..
Call your doctor or ER.
And tell them what you are experiencing .
Good luck , and congrats.
I have a tilted uterus also.. and was concerned at first with my first pregnancy…all was fine ..but I did go to my Doctor just for my own peace of mind.
I, too, had cramping early in my pregnancy. Drink more water! This will help a ton! I still get a little crampy on days that I don’t drink enough water (pop, coffee and sugary water aren’t good substitutes)! Good luck, and have fun being pregnant! (And no, the tilt has nothing to do with it - it’s quite common.)
