test during pregnancy

I have just done a pregnancy test during my period, as I normally have really heavy periods but this seems light!!! The test says positive, but could my period be affecting the result? Urgent answers PLEASE!!!!!

        I would re-test, but in all actuality yes, it can be positive. If the second comes out positive as well I would make an appointment with a doctor to be sure.

        No, preg tests measure hcg levels above 25. Non pregnant would be below 5 and anything higher is preg. So if you have done a preg test them you are preg. The bleeding you are experiencing is implantation bleeding, and it is supposed to be lighter.

        You can’t be pregnant when you are on your period. Fact. You are likely to be bleeding from elsewhere.

        lol, that person who said you cant be pregnant on your period needs to do some thinking, LOL.. You can still have bleeding while pregnant, FACT.. lol.. Sweetie, if your test says pregnant, then you are most likely pregnant, maybe take a couple more to be safe huh! If your bleeding, and its just light, i think you are okay, but i would go to the doctor asap.. GOOD LUCK, and best wishes..
