Okay, so my period was due on the 15th of October, and last night and today all i’ve gotten was very light brown spotting. I haven’t even had the usual pms symptoms (chocolate cravings and cramps.) My periods are usually very regular on time and same symptoms each time. When I tested yesterday morning I got a BFN. Has anyone ever started a pregnancy with brown spotting when their period was due, or does this just sound like the start of an odd period?

I asked this same question a few weeks ago but all the answers I got varied so I didnt know which one would really help. Anyways I had light brown spotting randomly for 2 days and then I got my period. I’m pretty sure the spotting I had for 2 days made it late. When you spot and you’re pregnant its called implantation bleeding, but sometimes spotting just means your period is coming. I never experienced spotting before so I thought I was pregnant, but my period came so I guess I’m not. Basically it could be either and you just need to play the waiting game.
I think that you should wait a couple of days and retest. Then also go get a blood test to make sure, cuz it sounds like you could be pregnant.
