If you had spotting during your pregnancy, when did it start? What was the duration? If it’s not TMI, what did your spotting look like? What was the result of the spotting? How did your doctor respond?

This is my second pregnancy and I’m in my first trimester I’ve been having headaches and mild cramping. It feels like period cramping but not as strong. Is this normal?

i am about 10 weeks pregnant, and i have heard so many different stories about stretch marks during pregnancy. some people say it is all based on genetics(if your mother had them, then you will too) but others say the can be prevented with certain types of belly cream or lotion. i really reallly want to avoid them if at all possible. can anyone tell me what they know about preventing stretch marks and if it is possible. and also if anybody who answers this has been through pregnancy wihtout getting them could you please include the lotion you used during pregnancy.

Hi all,
(for those who are a little squeamish please don’t read ahead)
I am 5 weeks pregnant and have been feeling fine, slight cramping which I have been advised is my womb etc stretching and it hasn’t been really bad pain.
Yesterday afternoon I went to the bathroom and felt a slight twinge so I probed my ‘insides’ with my finger and there was a milky brown blood, almost peach. I phoned NHS direct immediately and they advised it wasn’t uncommon to have a little bleeding but to call my doctor in the morning, it is now the morning and I am waiting for the doctors to open so that I can call and make an appointment, thing is I have checked again and there is a spot of blood at the end of my finger. I am not in any pain and I feel fine (other than worry of course).
I was wondering whether this is normal, to have this kind of spotting during early pregnancy? Is it or could it be a miscarriage? and any extra advice you can give me please?
